⚙️ Preparation Checklist

Position the patient exactly 10 feet (3.05 m) from this screen. Use a tape measure if needed.

Screen at eye level, normal ambient lighting, no glare.

Test each eye separately — cover one eye at a time with an occluder.

Set screen brightness to maximum. Letters are white on black.

Record the lowest row read correctly (≥ 50% letters correct). That is the acuity, e.g. 6/12.
